Ram Charan suggested Prabhas’ director to me: Chiranjeevi

The Malayalam action film ‘Lucifer’ will be remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi as the hero. Speculative reports have said that ‘Saaho’ maker Sujeeth will wield the megaphone for the remake.

In his interview with The New Indian Express, Chiru reveals that Sujeeth is very much working on the remake.  “The suggestion to team up with him came from Ram Charan (who will produce the remake).  Sujeeth has already suggested changes to the original script,” Chiru says, without confirming that the young ‘Run Raja Run’ director has signed on the dotted line.

These days, Chiru and Sujeeth (and unknown writers, too, perhaps) have been doing video calls to discuss the script.  “We are figuring it out,” the ‘Sye Raa’ actor informs.

Looks like this one is going to be the immediate next project of Chiru after ‘Acharya’, which is a socio-political entertainer.
