It’s just two days away and ‘Rakshasudu’ is seemingly yet to find its mojo. The thriller, releasing on Friday, is hardly the talk of the town. Its trailer doesn’t seem to have piqued the audience’s interest. Pre-release buzz is a must for good openings.
Keeping that aside, what are the factors that are stacked against the movie? Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas doesn’t enjoy the audience’s confidence. He has delivered mediocre movies consistently, especially in the last one and a half year. Secondly, thrillers like this one need interesting promotions for the initial kick, which is lacking in the case of ‘Rakshasudu’.
If the film’s content manages to hold, this one can still do well. After all, ‘Rakshasudu’ is heading for a big theatrical release.
Directed by Ramesh Varma, who has a massive responsibility to deliver a hit, the film stars Anupama Parameswaran as the heroine. It clashes with ‘Guna 369’ this Friday.
