Cinematographer turned director Rajiv Menon had last directed GV Prakash starrer Sarvam Thaala Mayam, also starring Nedumudi Venu, Aparna Balamurali, and had music by Isaipuyal AR Rahman. The movie had received fairly good reviews from critics.

While he had taken 18 years to hit screens with his third film Sarvam Thaala Mayam, after Ajith, Mammootty, Aishwarya Rai, Tabu starrer kandukondain kandukondain released in 2001, the director's next is all set to begin soon.

Buzz is that Rajiv Menon's next directorial venture will be an intense thriller, and that he'll be locking the final version of his script in Kerala. Rajiv Menon hasn't signed any project as a cinematographer, and hence one can expect another visual musical treat with thrills soon.
