A photo of superstar Rajinikanth visiting the home of former Tamil Nadu minister S.P. Velumani has been making the rounds on social media, sparking curiosity among fans and political observers alike.
Although Rajinikanth had once announced plans to enter politics—only to later step back from that decision—he continues to maintain connections with various political figures. These interactions, whether through visits to their homes or receiving them at his own, continue to draw public attention.
This latest visit was in response to an earlier wedding invitation. S.P. Velumani had invited Rajinikanth to his son’s wedding, which took place on March 3rd. Due to filming commitments, Rajinikanth was unable to attend the ceremony at the time.
Now that filming has concluded and he’s back in Chennai, Rajinikanth personally visited Velumani’s residence to offer his congratulations to the newlyweds. As a gesture of goodwill, he also presented the couple with a framed image of Sri Raghavendra, a revered saint whom the actor deeply respects.
