Our sources in TN Box office trade confirm that 'Baahubali 2' has collected Rs.10.6 crores on Friday (April 29) the day on which the film released in a historical number of screens across the globe.

Here is the break up of collections made by the film in prominent locations of the state.

Chennai- Rs.91 lakhs

Chengalpet- Rs.2.55 crores

Coimbatore - Rs.1.65 crores

Trichy & Tanjore - Rs.1.15 crores

With this 'Baahubali' has emerged as the second highest grosser of the year after 'Bhairava' and the 10th highest of all time. This record has been achieved despite the cancellation of special morning shows.
