'Arjun Reddy' fame comedian Rahul Ramakrishna has announced his retirement from movies after scoring box office hits like 'Jathi Ratnalu' in recent times. The young artist played a full-fledged role in 'Jathi Ratnalu' last year and has a meaty part in 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram', one of his most important upcoming movies.
On Saturday, taking to Twitter, the actor said that he will not be doing films any more after 2022. "I will not do films anymore. Not that I care, nor should anybody care," he wrote, without elaborating much.
Known for movies like 'Geetha Govindam', 'Husharu', 'Brochevarevarura' and 'Skylab', Rahul will next be seen in 'Virata Parvam' as well. Last year, the ZEE5 release 'NET' was fronted by him.
Rahul's announcement has shocked many. He has been one of the most sought-after artists alongside the likes of Priyadarshi.
