He is all of 14. And he has created wonders on the pitch. His name is Priyanshu Moliya, who recently played for Mohinder Lala Amarnath Cricket Academy in a Shri DK Gaekwad Under-14 tournament match against Yogi Cricket Academy. In the two-day match, he pulled off a whopping 556 runs.
Coached by former champion Mohinder Amarnath, the child monstrously smashed 98 fours and one six off 319 balls. His team scored 826 for 4 wickets in the match, leaving the opponents terribly shocked.
The boy’s previous highest score was 254 in the same tournament just last year.
“When I first saw him, I knew I was seeing someone very special. He is a fine talent and is very passionate,” Amarnath has been quoted as saying.
