Priyamani opens up about playing a contract killer

Priyamani is currently revelling in the success of ‘The Family Man 2’, in which she has played Manoj Bajpayee’s Tamil wife. The nature of her extra-marital relationship with her colleague in the series has come in for much analysis in the media.

Meanwhile, the actress is excited about playing a contract killer in ‘Quotation Gang’, which is being helmed by Vivek. Describing the character as an unassuming one, she told TNIE that she has used special make-up effects as part of the look test for the thriller. The gangster flick will be released in all major South Indian languages and Hindi. 

The actress is gung-ho about trying the Anantapur dialect in Venkatesh’s ‘Narappa’, which is a remake of ‘Asuran’ (Tamil). Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film was supposed to hit the screens in May. It has been postponed indefinitely.

Priyamani will be seen as Comrade Bharatakka, a naxalite, in Rana Daggubati-Sai Pallavi’s ‘Virata Parvam’. She is playing a CBI officer in ‘Cyanide Mohan’, a multi-lingual crime thriller.
