Actor Parvin Dabas, known for his memorable roles in films like "Khosla Ka Ghosla" and "Monsoon Wedding," was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Bandra hospital in Mumbai following a road accident on Saturday morning.

His wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani, is by his side at the hospital, offering unwavering support during this difficult time. A source close to the couple shared that doctors have conducted various tests and are closely monitoring Parvin's condition.

The Pro Panja League, co-founded by Dabas, released an official statement expressing their concern and wishing him a speedy recovery. The statement acknowledged the accident and confirmed that Parvin is receiving the necessary medical attention.

Preeti Jhangiani, in a statement shared with the media, confirmed that her husband suffered a serious concussion and is currently unable to move much. She explained that Parvin had been working late nights due to the demanding workload of the league and the accident occurred during his drive home in the early hours of the morning. Further tests are being conducted to assess any additional injuries.

Parvin Dabas, a versatile actor, made his acting debut in 1999 with the film "Dillagi" but rose to fame through Mira Nair's acclaimed "Monsoon Wedding" in 2001. He has consistently impressed audiences with his roles in films like "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy," "Khosla Ka Ghosla," and "Ragini MMS 2." Beyond Bollywood, he has also acted in Malayalam and Kannada films.

Dabas ventured into filmmaking with his directorial debut, "Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande," in 2011, which garnered international acclaim at various film festivals. A passionate scuba diver, he is also an accomplished underwater photographer. He is the founder of "The MMA India Show," a platform dedicated to promoting Mixed Martial Arts, where he interviews prominent figures in the sport.

Parvin and Preeti Jhangiani, known for her role in "Mohabbatein," married in 2008 and have a son named Jaiveer.
