Prashanth and Ilayaraja reunite after ten years

Prashanth during the nineties ruled Kollywood as the number one young hero who had and still has a huge fan following. His recent films have not been doing well at the box office but his next could change the fate.

Prashanth is starring in the Tamil remake of the Bollywood super hit 'Andhadhun' in which he is reprising the role played by Ayyushman Khurrana from the original. Ramya Krishnan has signed on to play the negative character brilliantly portrayed by Tabu.

The 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake is produced by Prashanth's dad Thiagarajan and Mohan Raja one of the biggest director's of Tamil cinema is helming it. The latest buzz on this project is that Isaigniani Ilayaraja will be scoring the music.

Prashanth and Ilayaraja have given several hits together over the years including 'Vanna Vanna Pookkal', 'Senthamizha Paattu', 'Chembaruthi', 'Kadhal Kavithai' etc. Now after ten years the duo are rejoining with their last film being 'Ponnar Shankar' written by Kalaigniar Karunanidhi.
