"Kalki 2898 AD" has captivated audiences as India's first dystopian sci-fi film based on Hindu mythology. With an impressive cast that includes Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, it stands as the most expensive film in Indian cinema.

On its first day, the blockbuster raked in over 191.5 crores worldwide, securing its place as the third highest-grossing film in Indian cinema history. Today, the producers confirmed that "Kalki 2898 AD" has amassed over 298.5 crores globally within two days of release, with a staggering 107 crores collected on Day 2 alone.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD, the film follows a few characters on a mission to save the unborn child, Kalki, of a lab subject. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this movie features a talented technical crew comprising Santhosh Narayanan as the music director, Djordje Stojiljkovic as the cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as the editor.
