Telugu Actor Posani Krishna Murali Arrested for Defamation on Naidu and Kalyan

Hyderabad: Popular Telugu comedian Posani Krishna Murali has been arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police. He was taken into custody from his residence in New Science Colony, Hyderabad.

The arrest follows a complaint filed by a Jana Sena Party official, alleging that Krishna Murali made derogatory remarks about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan during the previous administration. He was interrogated for over eight hours, and police reported that he was uncooperative during questioning.

The situation outside the police station became tense as numerous YSR Congress Party supporters gathered in protest.
