Actor Vijay Sethupathi is currently working on several movies like Laabam, VSP 33 by Venkata Krishna Roganth, Sanga Tamizhan and had recently launched the movie Tughlaq Durbar directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan and co-starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Manjima Mohan.

Few weeks back, another movie with Vijay Sethupathi in a special role was announced. Titled as Ka.Pae.Ranasingam, the movie will have Aishwarya Rajesh and GV Prakash's sister Bhavani Sre as female leads. It has been revealed that Aishwarya Rajesh plays a character named Ariyanachi.

In a recent interview, the director of the movie, Virumandi revealed that Ka.Pae. Ranasingam will speak about the issues faced by farmers in Ramanathapuram, the water scarcity and the politics behind protests by farmers in the area. The movie is produced by KJR Studios.
