Pawan Kalyan has decided to contest from Bheemavaram (West Godavari) and Gajuwaka (Visakha) in the upcoming Assembly elections. The Jana Sena’s General Body, comprising of the party’s intellectuals and others, took this decision on Tuesday. The party chief has accepted the General Body’s decision.
Anantapur, Tirupathi, Rajanagaram, Pithapuram, Pendurthi and Icchapuram were also under consideration. The General Body felt that the party will benefit the most if Pawan Kalyan contests from Bheemavaram and Gajuwaka.
On Monday night, Jana Sena announced a new list for 13 Assembly seats and one Lok Sabha seat. It is contesting the elections in collaboration with Bahujan Samaj Party and Communist parties.
