Now it has been confirmed that Ranjith will do another film before directing Rajinikanth but this will be as a producer.
Ranjith recently launched his Neelam Productions banner with a documentary film which is yet to be released. Now he will be producing a feature film under the same banner.
The film titled as 'Pariyerum Perumal' will be directed by debutant Maari Selvaraj, a former assistant of director Ram The film will have Kathir of 'Kirumi' fame and Anandi in lead roles.
Santhosh Narayanan will be rendering the music score for this film. Sridhar will be the director of photography while Ramu will head the Art department.
The film is based on the real life of a youngster in Tirunelveli. Hence the film, will be completely shot in the city.
The direction team is currently stationed in Tirunelveli to start the film's shoot by the end of January 2017.
