Pa Ranjith is a path-breaking director and he is now working on Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’. Today, he took to social media and shared that he met his idol Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. Ranjith has always been an ardent fan of Raja. He has now given him a present during their meeting.
Pa Ranjith posted a picture of himself presenting his gift to Isaignani on his Twitter page and captioned a line from one of Ilaiyaraaja’s classic songs. His gift was a book which is a collection of Dadasaheb Ambedkar’s love letters to his wife. We hear that this is a courtesy meeting. However, reports say that they are highly likely to work together soon.
The picture of their meeting is now trending on social media. On the work front, Ranjith is now busy with the post-production of Thangalaan. The film will debut in esteemed film festivals worldwide. Reportedly, the movie is preparing for a grand release on March 29, 2024. The maker will then move to the much-awaited sequel of ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’.
