The dynamic collaboration between superstar NTR and director Prashanth Neel is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle. Touted as a high-octane action entertainer, the much-awaited film—currently referred to as #NTRNeel—is being filmed in Karnataka.
In a major update, the makers have officially announced a new release date. Originally planned for a January 9, 2026 release, the film will now hit theaters on June 25, 2026. The shift comes due to delays in the commencement of shooting.
The working title of the film is “Dragon”, and buzz around the project continues to intensify. Producer Ravi Shankar recently teased that the film will redefine action cinema and set new industry standards.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the project reunites several talents from the “KGF” universe. Music is being composed by Ravi Basrur, promising a powerful soundtrack to match the film’s scale and intensity.
While the female lead has yet to be officially confirmed, sources suggest that Rukmini Vasanth is likely to join the cast.
