Dhanush Starter Netflix original Jagame Thandiram has become a meme material and its director Karthik Subbaraj is trolled for reproducing one of his blockbuster movie with only minor changes.

Many memes have surfaced the internet comparing the recently released Jagame Thandiram with the movie Jigarthanda. Karthik Subbaraj's movies were majorly centred on gangster stories, but this time in Jagame Thandiram he changed his route and portrayed the problems of immigrants and the politics of racism surrounding it. While the movie only received moderate feedbacks, it is now trolled for its similarities with Jigarthanda.

Jigarthanda, starring Siddharth, Lakshmi Menon and Bobby Simha in lead roles was released in the year 2014 and became a huge success. The story is about a hero who spies a gangster and betrays him towards the end.

The other aspects of the movie also includes, a deal between the hero and gangster, a friend who helps the hero, hero getting caught by the gangster. With all these resemblances, Jagamae Thandiram has become the trending topic for trollers.
