NDA is ahead as of now: My Axis chief

My Axis, which is considered the best polling agency in India, is yet to release its opinion poll.  However, its chief Pradeep Gupta has spoken to a TV channel about the mood of the country.

“Currently, NDA is well-placed.  It’s difficult to say how many seats it will win, though,” he said.  Last year, My Axis was the only agency which correctly predicted the poll outcome in Chattisgarh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh.

As per Gupta, about 2/3rd of voters are still impressed with Demonetization.  “The move changed the perception that BJP is a pro-rich party,” he told the interviewer.

What about unemployment?  “We learn that it is an issue in rural India.  However, it always was an issue.  There is nothing new about it.  As per me, four crore jobs have been created in the last four years.  This is not bad at all,” he added.
