'Aramm', the political drama starring Nayanthara in the main role, will be released in Telugu as 'Kartavyam'. The powerful title evokes the memories of the Vijayashanthi-starrer by the same name.
Producer-distributor R Ravindran of 'Siva Linga' and 'Vikram Vedha' fame owns the film's dubbing rights. His Trident Arts will release the Telugu version on the same day as the Tamil version. Ravindran has a hands-on experience in distributing something like 450 films. "We are very confident that 'Kartavyam' will be a super hit," he says.
Directed by Gopi Nainar, the film has music by Ghibran. Om Prakash is the cinematographer. Vignesh, Ramesh, Sunu Lakshmi, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Ramachandran Durairaj and PV Anand Krishnan are playing other important roles.
Plans are on to release the film this Diwali. However, an official word is awaited
