The Nadigar Sangam has announced that it will conduct a peacefull protest against the Sterlite factories in Thoothukudi and also press the central government to set up the Cauvery Management Board. The protest will be held from 9 am to 1pm at the Valluvar Kottam premises on Sunday the 8th of April.
It has been informed that all the top actors and actresses will participate at the protests. However it is still unknown whether the Kollywood strike will end soon or continue indefinately as there seems to be no resolution in sight.
