Malayalam legend Mammootty has been known for regularly acting in Tamil movies as well, and is popular in Tamil Nadu with his movies like Mounam Sammadham, Azhagan, Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Thalapathy, Kandukondain Kandukondain with Thala Ajith, Anandham to name a few.
He had last acted in Tamil in the acclaimed movie Peranbu directed by Ram, which won numerous awards, and now the actor is coming to Tamil again with his next bilingual movie Shylock, directed by Ajay Vasudev. This movie’s Tamil version has now been titled as Kuberan, the title of an old Karthik movie.
Kuberan Shylock will release in Tamil and Malayalam in December during Christmas festival, and the movie also has senior actor Rajkiran in an important role, making his Malayalam debut. Kuberan has Meena as the female lead and will be paired with Rajkiran.
