Major movie produced by Mahesh Babu and directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka, with Adivi Sesh as writer and lead actor, got badly hit by current Covid-19 outbreak. Movie is based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life who was leading the rescue operation in Mumbai during 26/11 attacks.
The movie shoot has been halted due to lockdowns and the team had planned non-stop schedules in Mumbai to finish the film by the end of May and release it in June. But now, the filming in Mumbai could be halted for few more months until, the situation improves.
If the team has to wait for more than 2 or 3 months post lockdown to get Mumbai, already hit by lockdown, the movie will get further more delayed. Hence, the team is thinking about alternatives to Mumbai locations in Hyderabad and manage it somehow with the footage they shoot in real locations, it seems.
Only 50% of the shoot is completed, hence they don’t want to let the budget soar up post lockdown it seems. We will get further information about the film, only post lockdown!
