“Meet Maha on her journey of Immeasurable Love (sic),” wrote Aditi Rao Hydari, sharing her first look from ‘Maha Samudram’. While the word ‘Maha’ in the title suggests great/massive, director Ajay Bhupathi has borrowed the word to use it as a proper noun for the female protagonist.
Aditi, who has played tragic roles in a number of movies, seems to be in for one more such role in this Sharwanand-Siddharth starrer. On the face of it, she has got a gloomy role. But considering how Ajay Bhupathi tried to shatter stereotypes in ‘RX 100’, you never know what is in store.
Produced by AK Entertainments, the action-romantic drama will hit the screens on August 19.
Chaitan Bharadwaj and Raj Thota are its music director and cinematographer, respectively. Avinash Kolla is taking care of the production design.
The film will be Sharwa’s most important release of the year, and Siddharth’s only release in Telugu in 8 years.
