'Maamannan', directed by Mari Selvaraj is a milestone movie in hero Udhayanidhi Stalin's career. He has already announced his retirement from acting to concentrate wholly on his political career serving as minister in his father M.K. Stalin's cabinet. The shooting of the film was completed a few months ago and the post-production work is underway.

Mari Selvaraj has officially shared on his social media page that the dubbing work of 'Mamannan' has now started. He shared a pic of Vadivelu dubbing for his portions in the film. The veteran comedian is playing a character role as the father of the protagonist played by Udhayanidhi.

'Maamannan' apart from Udhay and Vadivelu also stars Keerthy Suresh and Fahadh Faasil in the lead with Raveena Ravi in an imporatant character. The film
produced by Red Giant Movies, has Theni Iswar behind the lens while Selva has done the editing. Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman is scoring the music for the much awaited film which has been acquired by Netflix for streaming after its theatrical run.
