Lokesh Kanagaraj Reveals Desire to Create Master 2 with Vijay

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has expressed his interest in making a sequel to the film “Master” with actor Vijay. In a recent interview, he shared that while many fans expect him to do “Leo 2” with Vijay, he personally prefers to revisit the story of “Master.” He feels that the story of “Master” was not fully complete and wants to explore the character JD further, which he really enjoyed presenting.

Speaking about his upcoming film “Coolie,” Lokesh said that this time he is working without any release date pressure. Unlike his earlier films, where they had to begin shooting with a fixed release date, he decided not to follow the same approach now. He wants to avoid past mistakes and focus on making the film better.

He also mentioned that he doesn’t believe in long production timelines like other big films such as “RRR.” According to him, a film should be completed within 6 to 8 months. Lokesh added that he does not impose restrictions on actors, such as not changing their appearance or avoiding other projects during his film shoots.

Overall, Lokesh seems excited to work with Vijay again and revisit the “Master” storyline in the future.
