“Vibe to the most electric song of the year,” Vijay Deverakonda tweeted, plugging the song ‘AAFAT’ from his upcoming actioner ‘Liger’. Filled with “sizzling young fiery chemistry”, the beach song is filmed on VD and Ananya Panday, where the latter appears in a two-piece bikini and the former in shorts. “A glimpse of Pure Love, Gentle Innocence & Mad Affection,” is how Ananya had earlier described the song.
Composer Tanishk Bagchi adopts a pulsating style to make the song amenable to stylistic dance moves, which the Piyush-Shazia duo ably make use of. The song is crooned by the Simha-Sravana Bhargavi duo, while the lyrics have been penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar.
Director Puri Jagannadh adds his own spin by showing Ramya Krishna’s mother character caution his son against falling into the trap of wasting time texting and calling the girlfriend.
To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, the film also features Mike Tyson, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu.
