Samantha Ruth Prabhu has finally resumed her work related to ‘Kushi’. On Wednesday, marking Women’s Day, the star heroine was given a warm and celebratory welcome by her co-star Vijay Deverakonda. Director Shiva Nirvana and producer Y Ravi Shankar hosted a small cake-cutting ceremony wishing Samantha and “all the wonderful women out there” a happy Women’s Day.
The makers are planning to wrap up the shoot at a fast clip. The shoot has been recommenced after nearly after eight months. The break was because the ‘Yashoda’ actress was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder.
Recently, the ‘Ninnu Kori’ director said that Sam’s character will reflect the mentality of contemporary women. ‘Kushi’ is an out-and-out love story.
Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Sharanya Pradeep and Srikanth Iyyengar will also be seen. Action director Peter Hein is on board. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, ‘Kushi’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
