Mani Ratnam’s much-anticipated film Thuglife, starring global icon Kamal Haasan, hit theatres today. As fans flock to watch the film, a surprising and heartwarming revelation from actress Khushboo has caught everyone’s attention — her daughter, Anantitha Sundar, was part of the film’s crew.
Taking to Instagram, Khushboo proudly shared that her daughter worked as an assistant director on Thuglife. She wrote, “As a parent, it’s a proud moment to see my daughter’s name appear in the title credits of a Mani Ratnam film.”
Although Anantitha had to step away from the project due to a leg fracture, Khushboo noted that her daughter contributed meaningfully during her time on set. “The knowledge and experience she gained while working with Mani Ratnam will stay with her forever,” she added.
Khushboo also expressed heartfelt gratitude to director Mani Ratnam for acknowledging her daughter’s work in the credits: “This experience has been truly special. Thank you, Mani Ratnam sir, for including her name.”
The post has since gone viral, with fans and industry peers congratulating the young talent and her proud mother.
