Kanye West Sued: Former Employees Allege Racist Workplace and Unpaid Wages

A group of former staff members suing Kanye West claims he and former chief of staff Milogyn established a hostile, racist workplace and demanded too long hours.
TMZ claims the developers were engaged to work on West's YZYVSN streaming app, meant to highlight his next albums, "Vultures" and "Vultures 2."
Completing the app offered the staff $120,000. Later, though, they were pressured into signing nondisclosure agreements in response to unpaid wages and job loss threat. Certain small staff members were compelled to sign "volunteer" agreements declaring they would not be paid for their efforts.
Aiming for a May 1, 2024 deadline, the engineers worked largely remotely via Slack and other platforms. Both West and Yiannopoulos reportedly disregarded their requests for pay, which set off the lawsuit.
The former workers are looking for complete reimbursement of their unpaid salaries, overtime pay, and emotional distress damages. The lawsuit also claims that the developers heard racist comments; some of their coworkers were called "new slaves" and "slaves."
Bianca Censori, West's wife, is also accused of forwarding a file-sharing link including explicit sexual information to one employee allegedly for the purpose of developing West's pornographic app.
This lawsuit tracks Valhalla's resignation from Yeezy, apparently in response to West's porn studio idea.
