Raghava Lawrence’s Thrilling Line-Up Update with Kanchana 4 and LCU Bends

Raghava Lawrence has clarified that he never intentionally created a trend for horror films. He said, “I didn’t do anything to create a ghost trend. It’s because I have a large number of child fans; they made it a trend. Also, our team’s sincere work helped shape this trend.”

Currently, the shooting for Lawrence’s directorial project ‘Kanchana 4’ is progressing smoothly and has now entered its third schedule. After completing ‘Jigarthanda Double X’, he signed onto multiple films like ‘Benz’, ‘Bullet’, and ‘Kaala Bhairava’. Among them, ‘Bullet’, directed by debutant Inasi Pandiyan and starring his brother Elvin, was completed before moving on to ‘Kanchana 4’.

Lawrence’s journey into horror-comedy began with ‘Muni’, a turning point in his acting career, and it evolved into the popular ‘Kanchana’ franchise. In ‘Kanchana 4’, Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi play the lead roles. Supporting actors like Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini, Sriman, Anand Raj, and Redin Kingsley add strength to the cast.

The initial schedule was shot in Pollachi, followed by major sets built in a village near Tiruvallur for action sequences. Actor Ramachandra Raju of ‘KGF’ fame plays the villain in this film. The shooting also continued in studios along ECR in Chennai.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Benz’, produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has picked up pace with its shoot set to begin in Pondicherry. Directed by ‘Remo’ fame Bhagyaraj Kannan, with music by Sai Abhyankar, this film will be shot in between schedules of ‘Kanchana 4’.
