Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan after spending a few months abroad returned to Chennai recently and is looks all charged up to face a very busy year or so ahead. He is all set to host the 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' from October 1st and later begin shooting for 'KH 233' directed by H. Vinoth followed by 'Kalki 2898 AD' in which he is playing the chief antagonist.
Meanwhile Kamal also allots appropriate time to his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam and today held an important meeting in Coimbatore to discuss the upcoming parliamentary elections 2024.
Later speaking to newspersons Kamal said that he has huge support in Coimbatore and that he will contest from that constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections
He also asked the administrators and volunteers in the MNM to be ready to contest in all the 40 constituencies.
It is to be noted that Kamal Haasan had already contested in the Coimbatore East constituency during the last assembly election in 2021 and lost by a small margin to BJP's Vanathi Srinivasan. In his inimitable style the mutlitasker stated that even though his nose was broken by the last elections he has applied medicines and will come back to fight again next year. The 68 year old legendary actor has aligned with the Rahul Gandhi led I.N.D.I.A front that also has the DMK in its fold.
