The reunion of the masters of Indian cinema, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam for 'KH 234' after 35 long years has excited fans to the max. The duo have also scaled a new peak commercially as Mani Ratnam's recent epic multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' and Kamal's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj are at number one and two respectively in the all time blockbuster hits list in Kollywood history.

'KH 234' produced by Red Giant Movies is likely to go on floors in the second half of 2023 after the release of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' on April 28th 2023. Kamal Haasan will also complete Shankar's 'Indian 2' and may also do 'KH 233' with director H. Vinoth in the meantime.

Now there is a strong buzz that Trisha Krishnan is the first choice for the lead actress in 'KH 233' and this will be her fourth project with Mani Ratnam after 'Ayudha Ezhuthu' and the two 'Ponniyin Selvan' flicks. She has also teamed up with Kamal in 'Manmadhan Ambu' and 'Thoongavanam' and this will be her third project with him as well. Lets wait for the official confirmation on this one.

Trisha's new movie 'Raangi' directed by M. Saravanan and produced by Lyca Productions has released to criticial praise on December 30th. She is next in talks to star in Vijay's 'Thalapathy 67' and 'AK 62' with Ajith apart from a few female centric projects.
