Universal hero Kamal Haasan met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada earlier today. The actor sought permission to organize a premiere show of his upcoming film Cheekati Rajyam in one of the multiplex chains of Vijayawada, says sources. That’s not all, Kamal also invited Naidu to grace the event and watch the film with the audience.
Kamal is planning to organize two premiere shows one each in Vijayawada and Hyderabad on November 19th, a day ahead of the film’s release. Kamal and the entire star cast of Cheekati Rajyam are going to grace the premiere in both the regions which is going to have a six-hour gap easing travel time for the stars.
Directed by Rajesh M Selva, the film’s Tamil version has hit the screens on November 10 to thumping response. Trisha, Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj and Sampath Raj are playing prominent roles. Ghibran has scored the music.
