Kajal Aggarwal is on a mythological roll! After her recent appearance alongside Salman Khan in Sikandar and her divine portrayal of Goddess Parvathi in Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa, the actress is now rumored to join one of the biggest cinematic ventures yet — Ramayana.
According to Bollywood media reports, Kajal has been roped in to play the powerful and graceful Mandodari, wife of Ravana, in the upcoming epic. The film boasts a star-studded cast with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash in a dark, intense turn as Ravana.
If confirmed, this role marks another significant step in Kajal’s evolving career, placing her in the midst of a grand-scale retelling of India’s greatest epic. As Mandodari, a character known for her wisdom, strength, and dignity, Kajal will have the opportunity to portray a deeply layered and respected mythological figure.
With Ramayana shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema, Kajal’s addition to the cast only adds to the excitement. This could very well be a milestone moment in her career.
