Is Dhanush replacing this well-known hero in a new film? – Suspense Update

Actor Harish Kalyan, director Elan and sensational musician Yuvan Shankar Raj had previously worked together in the coming of age rom-com movie ‘Pyaar Prema Kadhal’. The successful trio reunited for their second project ‘Star’ in December 2020.

Last month, some inside sources revealed that ‘Star’ is being shelved due to some problems. The reports further stated that director Elan got a chance to direct the big star Dhanush and left ‘Star’. But now, the latest buzz is that Dhanush will be replacing Harish Kalyan in ‘Star’ and the project will be revived.

According to the reports, the producer of the film backed out due to the financial crisis, and all new producers willing to take the project forward have demanded a bigger star. The investors are now in talks with Dhanush to feature in Elan’s direction. So, the baseline is Elan may team up with the multi-talented actor for the revival of ‘Star’, not any other script.

The first look poster of ‘Star’ garnered huge attention as Harish Kalyan was seen emulating ‘Thalapathi’ Rajinikanth, ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ Kamal Haasan and ‘Swades’ Sharukh Khan, which piqued the interest of the fans. The film was said to be a contemporary subject set in Chennai.
