Prabhas, who is playing double role of Shivudu (Mahendra Baahubali) and Amarendra Baahubali in 'Baahubali 2', has undergone dual body transformation for the film.
Shivudu is lean (86 to 88 kgs) with a minimum body fat of 5 to 6 per cent. On the other hand Baahubali is more bulked up (105 kgs) with 8 to 10 per cent body fat. Prabhas had to follow a different diet for both. For the former, it was a low calories diet, whereas for the latter he had to follow a heavy calories diet.
Prabhas underwent rigorous training about which his trainer says, "For the last four years, I feel like I have been living with Prabhas. After a hectic shoot day too, he wouldn't miss out on workouts even after 11 pm. He’s one of the most dedicated and committed people I have worked with."
He further adds, "Prabhas has done risky things for his role and as much as the team took all precautions, he would sustain injuries. But that did not stop him. He would undergo physiotherapy sessions and continue his workouts."
