“If I Were Born a Girl, I’d Have Married Kamal Haasan” – Kannada Superstar Shivarajkumar’s Heartfelt Confession!

Kannada cinema icon Shivarajkumar has taken fans by surprise with an emotional and humorous statement about Kamal Haasan during a recent promotional event in Chennai.

Shivarajkumar was in the city to promote his upcoming film 45, which also stars Upendra, and is gearing up for release soon. While speaking at the event, he opened up about his deep admiration for Kamal Haasan — a bond that seems to go far beyond professional respect.

“I’ve always been a die-hard fan of Kamal Haasan. I watch his films from the first show on the first day,” Shivarajkumar shared. “Once, Kamal sir visited my home. When he asked who I was, I boldly asked him, ‘Can I hug you?’ He said yes and hugged me — I was so overjoyed that I didn’t bathe for three days after that,” he laughed.

He went on to add playfully, “Kamal sir is such a beautiful soul — if I had been born a girl, I would’ve married him!”

The heartfelt moment turned emotional when Shivarajkumar recalled how Kamal Haasan supported him during a tough phase in life. “When I was undergoing cancer treatment at Kauvery Hospital, Kamal sir personally reached out to me. His words gave me immense strength,” he revealed.

The candid confession from Shivarajkumar has won hearts, adding even more anticipation and emotion to the launch of 45.
