KT Rama Rao, the Minister for Municipal Admin & Urban Dev, Industry & Commerce, today said that he is no Shah Rukh Khan to floor and charm investors in a snap. He made the remarks in the context of talking about how difficult it is to attract and materialize investments.
“Whenever I go to Davos and other investment summits, the press here (in Telangana) asks me how many investments I am bringing. It is not easy to materialize projects just like that,” the TRS leader said.
KTR said that he invites skeptics who don’t believe in his claims about Hyderabad being the IT hub to visit the city and see its achievements for themselves. “Hyderabad definitely has been a fantastic place. It has got a great image makeover,” KTR said.
In other news, KTR said that Telangana is India’s only State to provide life insurance of Rs 5 lakh to nearly 40 lakh farmers through a scheme named Rythu Bhima.
