Concerned authorities have hiked the toll charges for vehicles traversing the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Hyderabad.
Here are the new charges: Rs 1.79 per km for car, jeep, van, LMV, SUV, MPV. Rs. 2.88 per km for LCV/Mini Bus. Rs 5.11 for Bus and 2-Axle Truck. For Axle Commercial Vehicle, it is Rs 6.58 per km. For heavy and oversized vehicles, the hike is steeper than for others.
The toll rate revision is as per a decision taken by the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited, which is a part of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). It’s usually done every April 1. Maintenance of ORR, annuity commitments, loan payment, etc are the reasons behind the hikes.
