Hot buzz : Suriya’s heroine becomes Karthi’s villain

Simran, who was the leading heroine of Kollywood, took a break from film industry after her marriage.She has predominantly appeared in Tamil films, in addition to Telugu and Hindi films. She is well noted for her dancing and acting skills in the Indian film industry. She made a comeback recently and has many films in hand right now.

After her comeback she played character roles in many films. The recent reports states that Simran has signed to play the baddie in Karthi’s ‘Sardar’. Sardar is a Spy thriller written and directed by P. S. Mithran and produced by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures. The film stars Karthi, Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan in lead roles.

Simran playing a baddie might come as a shock to audience but also has increased the expectations of the film. The first look of this film was released earlier and was well received by the audience.

She was last seen in the Netflix original anthology ‘Paava Kadhaigal’. She also joined the cast of Vikram 60. She will also appear in the Tamil remake of Andhadhun, titled Andhagan. Her much anticipated movie Nambi Effect is yet to be released.
