Senior journalist Vinayaka Rao has endeavoured to write a detailed and well-researched book on the history of cine journalism. Vinayaka Rao, who comes with decades of experience in journalism and has penned about ten books related to films, Telugu film industry and film-related aspects so far, has a request to make to one and all.
“If the Telugu film industry has a history of 90 years, so does the Telugu film journalism. In these nine decades, film journalism has made tremendous progress, taking new forms and shapes. From print journalism to tabloids, electronic media and now web media, we have seen its eventful journey over the years. I have been collecting vast amounts of information to document the journey of film journalism over the decades. I may have missed out on important details. I urge film enthusiasts, descendants of journalists, etc. to help me with unknown details. I will include them in my researched book,” Vinayaka Rao says.
