Director Gautham Vasudev Menon has made a strong statement that he will not act in or direct any new projects until the long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram finally sees its release. This bold move has caught the attention of the Tamil film industry.
Starring Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Menon, Dhruva Natchathiram was originally slated for release back in 2017. Since then, the film has faced numerous delays, with missed release dates in January 2023 and January 2024, leaving fans in a state of anticipation and disappointment.
Now, in a recent update, Gautham Menon has declared that all issues surrounding the film are being gradually resolved and he is determined to release it by July or August this year. Until then, he has vowed to step away from both acting and directing other projects.
The spy-thriller features a stellar cast including Ritu Varma, Simran, Parthiban, and Radhika Sarathkumar, with a special appearance by Menon himself. With music composed by Harris Jayaraj, the film continues to generate high expectations among fans and critics alike.
All eyes are now on Dhruva Natchathiram as it nears what could finally be its long-overdue theatrical release.
