Gautham Karthik the eldest son of Navarasa Nayagan Karthik made his debut in 'Kadal' directed by Mani Ratnam and is now one of the bankable young stars in Kollywood. The energetic actor turned 32 on September 12th and celebrated his big day with his mother Ragini and brothers Gyan and Thiran. Photos of Gautham's family have rarely made their way to the internet and this is one of the first instances of all of them together.

Ragini who hails from Ooty acted as the heroine of Karthik in 'Solaikuyil' directed by Rajan released in the year. The couple fell in love on the sets and got married and their sons are Gautham and Gyan. Thiran is the son of Karthik's second wife Rathi who is the younger sister of Ragini.

On the movie front Gautham Karthik is shooting for two movies 'Pathu Thala' costarring Simbu and the family drama 'Anandam Vilayadum Veedu' directed by Nandha Periyasamy.
