Box-office record alert: Fahadh Faasil’s action comedy flick joins the list of Malayalam blockbusters!

We are all aware that Malayalam films have dominated the South Indian box office, particularly in Tamil Nadu, since the start of the year. While ‘Manjummel Boys’, ‘Premalu’ and ‘Aadujeevitham’ went on to gross more than 200 crores and 100 crores respectively, Mammootty’s ‘Bramayugam’ collected around 75 crores.

In addition to this list, Fahadh Faasil’s new action comedy entertainer ‘Aavesham’ has opened its account at the box office. The movie was released on April 11th across the globe and earned more than 50 crores in just 5 days. This film will continue the success streak of Malayalam cinema. It opened to highly positive reviews with an appreciation for FaFaa’s electrifying performance.

‘Aavesham’ is directed by Jithu Madhavan, who earlier delivered the blockbuster ‘Romancham’. This film stars Fahadh Faasil, Hipster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan and others with music by Sushin Shyam of ‘Manjummel Boys’ fame. This movie is a joint production of Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments.
