Veteran director Mahendran has been admitted to a hospital in Pudukottai district as he suffered with breathing difficulties on Sunday evening.
Mahendran has been staying in Pudukottai for the shooting of ‘Pugazhendhi Enum Naan’ in which he plays in important role with Arulnithi. The film is being directed by Karu Palaniappan.
Late on Sunday night director Karu Palaniappan tweeted that the veteran filmmaker is out of danger and he was fine to the extent of saying that he will return to shoot from today itself.
IndiaGlitz prays the almighty for the complete recovery of the director of timeless classic films such as ‘Mullum Malarum’ and ‘Uthiri Pookkal’ and we also wish him a long healthy life.
