A young director aged just 31 has passed away suddenly in his house and the incident has sent shock waves in the film industry. Jibit George along with Jinoy Janardhanan directed the film ‘Kozhiporu’ in Malayalam based on the relationship between a family and a hen. The film released on March 6th but was affected by the coronavirus pandemic and the team was hoping to re-release after the lockdown is lifted.
Jibit George was at home and had nagging chest pain from Saturday morning but he did not make much of it and suddenly in the evening he had caught his chest and had collapsed. It is said that he had a massive heart attack and his body had warned him for a few hours.
Jiibit George is unmarried and is survived by his parents Angamaly Kidangoor Kalathipparambil George and Bensi, and his sister Jibina.
