Cheran praises MNM and Naam Thamizhar!

Director Cheran had last delivered the family entertainer Thirumanam which featured Umapathi, Kavya Suresh, Sukanya, MS Baskar and himself, and the movie received fairly decent reviews though wasn’t a commercial success. Cheran will next be seen in the action thriller Rajavukku Check.

Cheran has been active on Twitter, and post the announcement of Lok Sabha election results, the director has made several observations and appreciated several parties for the success they have achieved. With a total of 32.5 lakhs votes secured by MNM and Naam Thamizhar, it has been displayed that people want a change in politics, said the director.

Cheran further said that if DMK and ADMK continue to be like before, then Makkal Needhi Maiam and Naam Thamizhar will rise as the two major forces in Tamil Nadu politics, and appreciated the two parties for standing on their own and winning considerable share of votes opposing two giant parties and initiating a change.
