On Saturday evening, Narendra Modi welcomed Bollywood celebrities and some film personalities down South to use their fame to propagate Gandhian values. A party was held in New Delhi to mark the call. Dil Raju was the most well-known Telugu film personality who was present on the occasion.
“It was such an honour to meet honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi garu at the Change Within event where we celebrated 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi! We discussed the potential the film industry has to make a difference!” the ace producer, who is currently bankrolling ’96’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and a few other films, said today.
There is a criticism that no star hero from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries was invited by Modi’s bureaucrats.
