Simbu to the multitalented star of Tamil cinema after a long gap tasted huge success with his recent release 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi. His next lineup of films include Hansika's 'Maha', Gautham Menon's 'Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu', Obili N Krishna's 'Pathu Thala' and Gokul's 'Corona Kumar'.

'VTK' is nearing completion and Simbu will start shooting for 'Pathu Thala' this month and finish his portions in one go. He will then move on to 'Corona Kumar' directed by Gokul which is a spiritual sequel to the director's blockbuster hit movie 'Itharku Thaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara'.

'Corona Kumar' is said to star director Shankar's daughter Aditi Shankar as the heroine opposite Simbu. Now the big news is that the team has approached Fahadh Faasil to play a deadly villain and he is said to have liked his charcter. The official word on this breaking news is expected soon.

Simbu's 'Maanaadu' also had him facing off with a powerful villain S.J. Suryah and the prospect of him locking horns with the acting powerhouse Fahadh Faasil is sure to set the screens on fire.

Fahadh Faail meanwhile after his villainous role in Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' is set to star in in its sequel and is also the antagonist in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' and Udhayanidhi Stalin's untitled film directed by Mari Selvaraj.
